  8. I hope my comment describing "not knowing where the money was coming" as dissociation didn't bother you. I might have been too blunt. I was trying to say something in a way that would help me to "wake up" if I was dissociating. I'm sorry... I think my abuser was bipolar too. That psychosis thang looked to be a challenge. (You don't look manic/bipolar to me. Bipolar people I've known were psycho when manic.) You look like you're doing better. Maybe rest is a good thing. :)

  13. a group of really good people. Also your psych doc seems to at least be trying different things to help you and is being pro-active.
As for the moods, I have had major depressive episodes since my mid teens, and highs also, but because I too had no frame of reference to compare myself with, I thoughts everyone went through the same cycling as me. Several weeks of crushing lows with then a couple of weeks of highs, repeating over and over again, cont..

  14. Isn`t it great when people ask intelliigent questions, rather than seemingly quite voyeouristic ones. That`s one of the reasons I keep my DID to myself so much. Because when I have mentioned it in the past, very often all people want to talk about is the "drama"of it all. And I so hate feelingly like I`m a movie of the week. That is why I think it is fantastic you were able to talk to these people about your DID and they responded so well. With respect and intelligence. Glad you found, cont..
