  1. @cornflaked DID is not subject to skepticism. There is outstanding empirical evidence about this subject, and it is going to be in the DSM-5

  2. "days when u just lose yourself"- oh yes- i get up and forgot my name etc- not as severe as him- to heal gently dont get an agreesive therapist like sybi which almost pushed to suicidel- do revivification yourself at your own pace and write down dont talk of abuse to prevent re-compartmentaliz the memories- delays co-consciousness- see bryce taylor & access denied by cathy obrien

or defense mechanisms children will then have multiple personalities. One of course, being the dominant personality. That being said, I believe due to the cause of DID that this does occur in other cultures, but is still more prevalent in Western Societies.
Side note:I applaud you for your concerns, it's nice to see someone not taking something as harmful as this as a joke.

  4. @iig0tem You're actually correct. Many disorders such as MPD are strongly culturally influenced. But that doesn't mean the do not exist in other cultures. In some, disorders are like a "taboo" and never spoken about or acknowledged. In the case of MPD, or DID (either or really works) this disorder shows itself around the age of 4-6 years old and is a result of a severe childhood trauma, many times, sexual exploitation. Because a child this young does not know how to use coping methods

  5. @cornflaked My concerns reach out to this man.. But I do think this is a culturally influenced disorder... just like anorexia in the US.

  6. @iig0tem True. DID is still the subject of skepticism, especially outside of the U.S. I'm no doctor, but whatever is happening to these people they are suffering and deserve some sympathy.

  7. @The336336336 I don't give a shit about this disorder. I just like pissing you off, it's hilariously easy.

    Poor man

  9. @The336336336 If you're really 23 you should be seriously ashamed. Grow up.

  10. @BigVicTheBadSeed Don't even bother responding back to this because I am not going to spend any more time posting comments on this video. I doubt very seriously you know anybody who claims to have this kind of disorder. My advice for you is to not be so gullible to believe everything you hear about DID.

  11. @BigVicTheBadSeed First of all, you don't know anything about me or my family! Second, I'm 23, so you are a kid to me you little shit.

    ReplyDelete
  12. @The336336336 lol, do you always call your elders kid? A psychologist knows just as much as a psychiatrist about mental illnesses.
But let's get to the real problem(s)
We can start with your family abuse. Look, just tell your father "No means no," and that your mother has no right putting cigars where she does in your body. Abuse is no joke, you should get help. You'll be yelling less and you'll stop trying to fit as many swears as you can into one sentence. Chin up, infant.

  13. @BigVicTheBadSeed What difference does it make??? The line you quoted me saying was in response to FuckThisShit422's comment about a psychologist! ONLY A PSYCHIATRIST CAN MEDICALLY DIAGNOSE SOMEONE WITH A DISORDER LIKE THIS! A PSYCHOLOGIST CAN'T!!! READ, KID!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. @The336336336 lol, not that it matters, but I'm 18, I think I hit puberty a long time ago. And you're right, it is common knowledge, but you clearly didn't know the difference because
"I even dated a girl who was believed by a psychiatrist (NOT a psychologist as you mentioned)"
Tell me what difference it makes? And I'm not sure you know what ignorant means either lol, because nothing I said shed light on my personal knowledge.
Seriously, work on your anger issues. You come off as a joke :P

    ReplyDelete
  15. @BigVicTheBadSeed Looking at your picture on your channel, you look like you've barely hit puberty yet.

    ReplyDelete
  16. @The336336336 Impressive google work though

    ReplyDelete
  17. @The336336336 lmao. I'd forgotten what it was like to talk to a 13 year old. Take your meds. So angry.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @cornflaked Obviously mental illness is real... But the topic of DID is highly controversial on it's validity.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @WonderWomanFan4life lol, technically you don't open anything when you put your fingers to the keyboard... Just thought you should know that.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @blyth1972 Jerry, drilling a hole in the skull to let demons out is a pretty archaic treatment of mental illness. Today we sedate the demons until we get them addicted, then coax them out with a piece of meat. It takes years.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @The336336336 lol do you know the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist?

    ReplyDelete
  22. @The336336336 Dumbass

  23. @asianoutcast87 Sometimes, it depends on the strength of the personality, and cause of the disassociation. Sometimes the host can see whats going on, but its like looking through a frosted window or dirty water. other times its a total black out of memory. with dissociation in SPD the personalities are created to either store bad memories or were created at the event of trauma to protect or defend the host.

  24. I find it very ironic that this Dr has red hair like Dr. Wilbur the year that this person started treatment was when Sybil came out.

    ReplyDelete
  25. no matter how bad you had it there is someone worse off and would trade places with you in a heartbeat!

    ReplyDelete
  26. What confused me about this was that, to my knowledge, in DID the separate personalities don't often know about each other (at least the 1st doesn't know about the 2nd but the 2nd may know about the 3rd etc). The part where she talks about the woman waking up with a man she doesn't know seems to reflect that, or at least reflect the point that two personalities can't occur at once. But she also talked about two personanlities communicating with each other. Doesn't that contradict the point??

  27. 100% of the cases i have read about involve the parents sexually abusing the child and allowing friends and strangers to do the same. this is obviously happening a lot. imagine how many other kids are going thru this right now that we will never know about. it makes my cry and my heart is seriously hurting right now. i cant sleep/

The traumas we experience as children. Period.
The mind splits off into alters to deal with the pain.
We must take the arms of our glasses out of our mouth and think outside of the conventional box.
If you want to know truly shocking cases of DID's or MPD's read Cathy O' Brians "Tranceformation of America" or Brice Taylor's "Thanks for the Memories"

  29. The things this woman has been through results in ways her body cannot cope with and so from extreme anxiety the brain literally goes through a change in which chemicals cannot be properly managed.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @kittuhowl Ok im sorry I just felt it did sound similar in the way this woman described it all.

  31. @Staceybob
    because you are a liar

    ReplyDelete
  32. @turtles12 Really? Then why have I been having multiple personalities before having any psychological involvement? Over years later I am only now getting psychological involvement, so how on earth could my psychologist have implanted it into me if I've only just started seeing one. You are small minded and clearly have no respect or education on this subject.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @turtles12
Yes, we get it you are a skeptic. It is impossible for you to believe something until you can wrap your narrow mind around it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Staceybob

excuse me, I should have said that it does exist for you but only in your mind because it was implanted into it by your psychologist

    ReplyDelete
  35. There is still so much that we do not understand about the mind, the brain. Of course there are not concrete answers for how to "clean" the mind. It's not like cutting out a tumor. Furthermore, due to neuroplasticity, there are many ways that one could "clear" one's mind--through repetition of a certain behavior/thought process in order to repave neuronal networks. When recovering alcoholics go through those 12 steps, they are constantly trying to steer neuronal connections in a new way@thibs44

  36. @turtles12 Dissociative Identity Disorder is real I suffer with it on a day to day basis and small minded people like you that claim it dosnt exist are the cause of many of us suffering abuse. Open your eyes to the reality in front of you. Just because you dont suffer with it, doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @2rs2pure Bipolar disorder is not Dissociative Identity Disorder.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Great series of videos. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sad.....so many people don't understand....

    ReplyDelete
  40. @missanna208 Mental illness dont really exist, as well as good or evil, its all a business of this dilusional system to keep sheeps all lined up with conduct patterns which define what should be called good or bad, sane or insane...

Oh god i hate psychologists and psychiatrists, they thing as well as judges and lawyers that they know fuckin everything, when they really give a fuck about the true essence of a human being, all they care about is money nothing more.

    Excuse for my english

  41. MPD, or DID does NOT exist. The idea of multiple personality, is sensationalizing garbage; by fanatical, nutty psychiatrists, and spun off and capitalized on by Hollywood drama. Funny that not a single person has it, until some whack job psychologist, ( who also may believe that the client had babies with space aliens they ate, but forgot) tells the poor unsuspecting victim they have MPD. It's documented, that shrinks use hypnosis, drug overdose, brainwashing, food deprivation to convince.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Wow, these people should see the shrink that saw the people in our bin here. He seemed like he could diagnose everyone in five minutes. All the men have PTSD and all the women are borderlines. Solution-put everyone on as many different drugs as possible! Anti depressants, nicotine patches, sleeping pills. LOL.

What's this taken from? As in, what programme or show or whatever? I'm doing a case study on DID in science and it'd be reeeaaaalllyyy useful if I could watch the rest..? Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wait..I don't get it, is bipolar same as dissociative ..identity thing? ..
Sorry I have bipolar but I dont have voices :L :S

  45. @DoctorSess I just had to say the Glenn Beck thing. Anytime I can crack a joke on that whack-job, I do. I read some about trauma mind control way back in the day and understand the idea, and its plausibility. I got sucked into these comments for the chance to take a stab at Beck... and I happen to like the Doctor's Scarf and chair color coordination.
